:I agree that group stretching is not an event, because as you say, events operate on a player-independent timeline, and their date or time of occurrence cannot be influenced. I think it's similar to Kapp'n's boat appearing in {{PG}} when you plug in a GBA, allowing you to ride on it to the island. It's an activity or gameplay feature the player initiates. I would actually categorize it as a type of cutscene, of which there are a few other examples: game load screens (Isabelle's announcements, or the 'dark room' in PG), traveling on any form of transportation (train, bus, taxi, plane), Dr. Shrunk performances, project celebrations, and K.K. slider performances/credit roll. In some cases these "cutscenes" are interactive, while others more or less just play out. Because group stretching is not an official event, I think that it could get its own page, if it's notable enough to warrant one. Otherwise I think it could just remain here, since it's so similar to the event in previous games, and is obviously meant to be its successor. ::The word "cutscene" to describe those is kinda fitting, and perhaps eventually all these cutscenes could be placed in some separate page someday. Since you mentioned that it's "so similar", yeah, it could stay in this page. This reminds me of NH info about [[Hinamatsuri]], as a "seasonal event" in Nook Shopping, being embedded in the page about that event in the previous games. Split Morning aerobics (AC) and group stretching (NH)?

While morning aerobics is an event that has a defined timeline, group stretching could be considered as an activity that the player can interact with. Or would the two be considered too similar to not warrant separate articles? Lucky Clovers NL Icon.pngDecomposer 10:09, November 7, 2021 (EST)

I agree that group stretching is not an event, because as you say, events operate on a player-independent timeline, and their date or time of occurrence cannot be influenced. I think it's similar to Kapp'n's boat appearing in Animal Crossing when you plug in a GBA, allowing you to ride on it to the island. The word "cutscene" to describe those is kinda fitting, and perhaps eventually all these cutscenes could be placed in some separate page someday. Since you mentioned that it's "so similar", yeah, it could stay in this page. This reminds me of NH info about Hinamatsuri, as a "seasonal event" in Nook Shopping, being embedded in the page about that event in the previous games.
