Another small thing, but when updating infoboxes with new villager images, be sure to move the old infobox image elsewhere in the article, such as in a gallery at the bottom of the article. An example would be [[O'Hare]]. Also, be sure to sign your messages with four tildes (<nowiki> ~~~~ </nowiki>). Thanks! :) If you ever have questions, feel free to ask me. We're glad you've taken the step to create an account and edit our wiki! With an account you'll now be able to easily edit pages, participate in discussions, watch pages, track your edits, and have access to additional editing tools. You can also create and edit your own user page.

If you intend to continue editing, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's general use and editing, and privacy policies.
  • Preview your changes before saving them to avoid the need for making corrections afterwards.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes instead of undoing or reinstating changes repeatedly without discussion.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This code will automatically leave your name and a timestamp.

You can find editing tutorials and further information about our policies on the help pages.

Where to start? Check out the The Roost for the latest discussions, or consult the to-do list on the Main Page to see tasks that need to be worked on.
Questions? Feel free to ask a member of staff directly, post your question on the The Roost talk page, or ask about it on our Discord icon Discord server. We're always happy to help!
Thank you for your contributions, and have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Duplicate files

Hey there - I'm Kevin, a staff member here. Thanks for your contributions so far! Just a heads up, the last two files you uploaded are duplicates of File:Al NL.png and File:Anicotti NL.png. I believe, for the most part, that I have uploaded all the New Leaf villagers available already. They are in the format "File:Name NL.png". You may view my contributions to see them. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk 15:42, 12 July 2013 (EDT)

But why the files aren't in important places, like the character main artwork? I did this thinking this way. Sorry for the trouble, Sombrero Guy.

They will be eventually - there are hundreds of files, and it'll take a while to move them there. I know this wasn't clear beforehand, and I apologize. Another small thing, but when updating infoboxes with new villager images, be sure to move the old infobox image elsewhere in the article, such as in a gallery at the bottom of the article. An example would be O'Hare. Also, be sure to sign your messages with four tildes ( ~~~~ ). Thanks! :) If you ever have questions, feel free to ask me. Again, I apologize that these things weren't clear before. I look forward to your future edits :) ~SuperHamster Talk 15:49, 12 July 2013 (EDT)
