Badges are acheievements that can be earned in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. They are given out by Phineas to the player when the player does such tasks as catching fish or hunting for bugs. When a player earns a badge, it is automatically saved onto its Town Pass Card. There are 72 badges (bronze, silver, gold) in 24 different categories.
