Kappa are a species in Animal Crossing series. The first Kappa to appear was Kapp'n in Template:AFe+, however, Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduces the rest of Kapp'ns famliy, his mother, Geko, his wife, Kuko, and his daughter, Kuku. In every non-Japanese versions of the game, Kapp'n is a turtle. This is most likely to avoid confusion, as Kappas are mythical creatures often only seen in Japanese culture. Most likely, the rest of Kapp'n's family will be considered turtles in non-Japanese versions.
