Star fragments are an item introduced in New Horizons. They are found on the beach the day after the player wishes on shooting stars during a Meteor Shower. They can be used in DIY recipes to create things like the Star wand. The fragments share a strong resemblance to the Japanese candy, Konpeitō.
There are a number of different types of star fragments like:
- Star fragment
- Large star fragment (Rare)
- Star sign fragment (according to the position of the celestial globe)
Celeste's Stories
If the player has a zodiac item in their pocket (either a Star sign fragment or a item from the Astrology Set), they can show Celeste the item and she will tell a story about mythology based on the item.
Aries
"There were a pair of royal twins named Phrixus and Helle whose stepmother, the queen, hated them. When one of the queen's schemes put the twins' lives in peril, their mother prayed to Zeus for help.
