"Queen Nefertiti's Ancient Egyptian name means "the beautiful one has come." Her statue lives up to that."
— Museum Exhibit, Animal Crossing: New Leaf

The Mystic Statue is a sculpture first introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This piece is based on Thutmose's Bust of Nefertiti, from around 1345 BC. The limestone bust features Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten.

In New Leaf, the statue is displayed in the first Artwork room, in the southwest quadrant.

Authenticity

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, if Nefertiti is wearing a spherical headgear, rather than a cylindrical one, then it is a forgery.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, if Nefertiti is wearing an earring, then it is a forgery. Otherwise it is genuine.
