:Oppose I personally think it's notable that it appears in 3 separate entries. For example, I knew it existed in Pocket Camp, but I had no idea that this same exact windmill also appears in New Leaf and City Folk, and it was nice to see this all on one page. Moreover, despite the windmill not really affecting gameplay, I think it's a good idea to have a page for it regardless because the lighthouse does have a page and for the City Folk choice players might be looking to compare the two. --Bassieeee (talk) 11:44, July 23, 2023 (EDT) | :Oppose I personally think it's notable that it appears in 3 separate entries. − | ::Comment I similarly feel that the windmill page is notable enough to keep, though unfortunately for the last point, technically a picture of the CF windmill could be moved to the town fund page, and the picture of the PC windmill could be moved to the Breezy Hollow page. But I still agree that having a centralized location for the windmill's appearance in multiple entries makes more sense to me than removing it altogether. :Oppose The windmill is notable enough to have its own page. A game that mainly revolves around the concept of decorating a town, your house, and your character, it's nonsensical to deem that the windmill isn't worthy of having its own page due to not having a meaningful effect on the gameplay. The meaningful effect is the product of the town fund sidequest, which is a landmark in your town. There are pages for all landmarks/structures, if you check out the location navbox at the bottom of the windmill page. Even objects, which as far as I can tell, have 0 impact on gameplay besides being very nice decorations, has its own page. If windmill page is deleted, then there won't be pages for every (non-public works project) landmark and structure anymore. The current City Folk windmill screenshot isn't that great, but I still think it's nice to have one centralized location to very easily see the windmill's incarnations in each game, rather than having to jump around multiple pages if its content gets pushed to other pages. Town beauty
Has it been proven that the windmill increases town beauty? The lighthouse page claims its increase in rare fish is just a rumor, and the same could be true to the town beauty rumor...--BellBank 03:50, 7 July 2012 (EDT)
Deletion?
Do we need this article? As far as I can tell, the windmill is just a minor Town Fund/public works project and doesn't affect gameplay in any meaningful way. The only notable parts are the Town Fund donation/construction process and the glitch in City Folk, both of which are already covered elsewhere. Drago (talk) 13:53, July 17, 2023 (EDT)
- Support At least with something like the lighthouse, it is the main aspect of a sidequest in a few of the first-gen titles, whereas this...doesn't really have anything going for it. The Jacketed Terrapin 04:23, July 18, 2023 (EDT)
- Support At the very least, this should be a disambiguation page as there's also an item page in Animal Crossing: New Horizons named windmill. -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 01:39, July 20, 2023 (EDT)
