The amiibo phone appears in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, located inside Nook's Homes. It is used for amiibo. When the players use the amiibo phone, they must scan their amiibo Card so they can build a house for that character. The amiibo phone is unlocked when enough progress is made in Happy Home Designer.
