The mere existence of cooking recipes as of {{NHVer|2.0}} means that for all purposes, we cannot simply call this page and its list of recipes under "DIY recipes". Subpage suggestions

You should create a page for the balloon exclusive DIY recipes. That would be helpful for me to see how much more balloon farm I need to do. - Resident Rep. of Flagland, Flag Lover 18:44, April 1, 2021 (EDT)

I wouldn't mind a page for balloon exclusive DIY recipes. So far each of the season pages (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter with the exception of Snowboys) are the recipes that comes out of balloons. However, the Halloween DIYs, the Ornament DIYs, and the Shamrock Wand also come from balloons. Considering what might occur next with Nintendo using balloons to distribute further DIY recipes, I would expect to create a page just in case. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 23:24, April 1, 2021 (EDT)
It also wouldn't be bad to have a page for the DIY recipes that any villager can give, that aren't dependent on personality. I know that there is a 5% of a villager crafting a recipe that isn't a part of their own personality, but what I mean is tab that contains all the flower crowns and wreaths, and other non-personality specified DIY recipes. - Resident Rep. of Flagland, Flag Lover 18:41, April 8, 2021 (EDT)
I've gone ahead and created both DIY recipes/Any and DIY recipes/Balloons based on your feedback Flag Lover. Thanks for the suggestions! Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 16:58, June 24, 2021 (EDT)

Construction Kit Table Error

The two construction kit DIY recipes appear twice in the list each. ie There are two bridge construction kits and two campsite construction kits listed. - unsigned comment from Flag Lover (talkcontribs)

That's because the cargo table is producing dupes. We are currently in the process of refreshing the table so to say. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 00:19, July 27, 2021 (EDT)

Renaming this page to simply "Recipes"

The mere existence of cooking recipes as of 2.0 means that for all purposes, we cannot simply call this page and its list of recipes under "DIY recipes". And it wouldn't be cool and technically efficient to name it "DIY/cooking recipes", so I'm suggesting to move this page and all of its subpages down to "Recipes" and account for any changes made. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 18:20, November 26, 2021 (EST)

Oppose Oppose - "DIY" in the context of New Horizons is an all-encompassing term for the concept of making items with other items, which includes both crafting and cooking. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 00:35, November 27, 2021 (EST)
