The Fortune Cookie

A fortune cookie is an item introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf; it is sold at Timmy and Tommy's store. It is not purchased with Bells, rather it is purchased with a special currency called the Play Coin. The Play Coin is a 3DS currency that is earned by walking 100 steps, having the 3DS count them with its internal pedometer. Each cookie costs 2 Play Coins. The player will get a little fortune paper inside the edible outer cookie. By purchasing a fortune cookie, the player has a chance of getting a special, exclusive prize, which are categorized by numbers.
