The red brick rug is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. As a rug item, it can be placed inside the houses of villagers, the player, Photopia on Harv's Island, a vacation home in Happy Home Paradise, or in the Room Sketch app.

The red brick rug can be obtained from Saharah's Co-Op on Harv's Island for  1,200 Bells. Once the item is touched by the player, they can then purchase this item from their catalog for  1,000 Bells.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is available for use in designing after completing six vacation homes and the school facility.
