The amiibo phone is a phone that appears in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, located inside Nook's Homes. It is used for amiibo. When the player uses the amiibo phone, they must scan their amiibo card in a way that is depending on the Nintendo 3ds's version. Once scanned, the player can build a house for that character. The amiibo phone is unlocked when enough progress is made in Happy Home Designer.
