Paint is an item that allows the Player to change their roof color on their House. The price of paint varies by color, such as Gray being the cheapest and Purple being more expensive. The colors change on a daily basis.

After paying off their mortgage, Tom Nook will ask what color the want their roof to be. After buying a can of Paint it takes one day for the roof color to change. Players can only buy Paint in their town, Tom Nook will not sell to those from another town.

Animal Crossing In Animal Crossing all Paint costs 800 Bells. The Player can get a Villager to pain their House when asked if they want it repainted or enlist Wisp to paint it after catching 5 spirits.

Animal Crossing Wild World In Animal Crossing Wild World the Player can obtain Paint when they upgrade to Nookington's for 980 Bells. They can also have it changed after they payoff their mortgage.
