The player calling for Lobo

The Megaphone is a tool introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The player can use it to locate villagers by holding down A and speaking their name into the Nintendo 3DS microphone, to which the villager will reply with a chat bubble. The Megaphone can also be used to wake up Gulliver when he washes up on the town's beach.

Limitations

  • It cannot be used when online communications are active
  • It cannot find villagers that are in houses or shops
