A wetsuit is a new clothing item introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It allows the player to go swimming in the ocean.
Obtaining a wetsuit
A wetsuit cannot be bought with Bells in a shop. Wetsuits are only obtainable on the Island, and can be bought for 40 Tortimer Medals. Along with several other tools, a rental wetsuit is available while on the island.
