Donkey Kong Jr. is an arcade game that was later released on many other systems, including the Nintendo Entertainment System and Virtual Console. It makes an appearance in Animal Crossing as a collectible item.
In the game, the main titular character, Donkey Kong Jr., is trying to rescue his father, Donkey Kong, from Jumpman (now known as Mario).
Obtaining
The player could redeem special codes that were shown on the now-retired Animal Crossing website. These codes can be redeemed for a variety of items such as special Nintendo items and NES games, one of which is Donkey Kong Jr.
