This template is to be used for files and templates that have been deprecated and should no longer be used. The replacement parameter can be used to specify an alternative that should be used instead. The template will automatically adapt its text for file and template pages.
All pages containing this template will be added to Category:Deprecated pages. Most deprecated pages can eventually be deleted once they are no longer used.
