The Real Estate Agency (ためき ハウジング, Tameki haujingu) is a new facility in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is run by Tom Nook and Lyle, who allow the player to expand their home and customize the exterior of it.

Features

Expansions involve adding additional rooms to the house, and also expanding the size of rooms. Similar to Animal Crossing: Wild World, players will be able to add a second floor, along with left, right, and back rooms, and unlike in Wild World, players will also be able to build a basement. The order the rooms are built are determined by the player.

Exterior customization includes changing the styles of chimneys, doors, fences, mailboxes, roofing, and walls.
