In Animal Crossing, the recycling bin is the dump
The recycling bin is used for putting unwanted items in. There may be furniture, hats, paper, etc. By sending a villager furniture or clothes, they are more likely to put things in the recycling bin. Garbage and cans may also be put into the bin.
