For ocean fish, I'm pretty certain it's just the exact same as the fish available on the island, and then for freshwater fish, it's, to my testing, been freshwater fish available in August, like the crawfish, piranha, dorado, guppy, neon tetra, etc. The tours where critter catching is the goal have next to no consistency regarding season as I've caught blowfish, football fish, stringfish, and other winter or cold weather fish on these tours. | ||

Right now my info is very incomplete, and I won't really be able to tell when it is complete without repeating tours thousands of times to see if I catch something I haven't before, so I don't know if it's even worth it to put anything up now if it's all a work in progress manually going through all of the tours a day at a time (I don't TT). Suggestion[edit]
I'd like some more info. I've seen that tours have different fruits, bugs, etc. and I would like to find them. I want to find new fruit (have everything but Mango) and rare island fish. If anyone could update this, please do so. Jirachi (talk) 09:17, November 27, 2019 (EST)
- This has been noted on the to-do list at the top of the page. This will require a bit of research, so we would be grateful for your help. If you need help setting up the item/fish tables let me know. Also don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes (e.g.

Multiple pages for different tours?[edit]
Can we put data from Balloon Hunt, Item Matching, Labyrinth Tour, Scavenger Hunt, Hide and Seek Tour, Hammer Time, and Gardening Tour to this page? Decomposer 10:24, April 24, 2021 (EDT)

- Bump, but the tables here are duplicate information and are best served in the separate articles. The issue is that we don't have separate articles for all the tours, so we shouldn't delete the information either. ™ 19:04, August 10, 2021 (EDT)
- To be honest, I don't think that the tours are notable enough to have separate articles and if the information is to be on separate pages I think it would be better to have it as a subpage. Example: Island Tour/Balloon Hunt. I think this may be what Decomposer was originally suggesting. (talk) 22:20, August 10, 2021 (EDT)
- Rethinking about it several months later, what I wanted to say was to put all information about these different tours into just this one page, as each "tour" isn't notable enough to have its own separate page. Or maybe each should have their own page? Decomposer 08:12, August 11, 2021 (EDT)
- I feel each tour should have its own page honestly (not a huge fan of all those collapsed medal tables). While some tours will be more straightforward and will consequently have small pages, those hunting tours such as dragonfly catching or shark fishing can have a list of appearances of possible catches, both those that count to the score and those that don't. ™ 20:17, August 11, 2021 (EDT)

Island Tour[edit]
The official Animal Crossing Twitter is full of errors that contradict the actual game terminology (calling Saharah "Sahara," calling DJ KK "DJ Slider," capitalizing terms that are normally lowercase in-game, etc.), and I'm not suggesting that any wiki changes should be made based on the official Twitter terminology, but I just wanted to note this for posterity's sake that this tweet calls it "Island Tour." Listing fish/bugs/sea creatures available on tours[edit]
I currently still play New Leaf daily and make it a habit to play every island tour available to me at least once every time I visit the island. I've been steadily making a list of critters available on both tours where catching/fishing/diving is the goal - which has critters that the player cannot take home and vary based on tour - and also the list of critters that can be obtained and kept to put in the bin on the island - which are consistent across tours. There are only some tours where the latter is possible, and all of the critter-specific tours do not allow for taking any critters home.
To my knowledge, the bugs you can catch on the tours where you can take critters home are the same bugs you can catch on the island around noon-ish - considering I'm nearly certain the tours taking place during the day all have the same hour time frame - with the inclusion of the darner dragonfly and the banded dragonfly due to the tour having freshwater the dragonflies can spawn near.
All this is to say that I'm new to editing the wiki and have no idea how to put this info up on the page in the neat little tables that look nice. There's also virtually no way to fully confirm what critters CANNOT be caught since I'm only marking ones I've personally caught myself and could just be unlucky and missing some. Right now my info is very incomplete, and I won't really be able to tell when it is complete without repeating tours thousands of times to see if I catch something I haven't before, so I don't know if it's even worth it to put anything up now if it's all a work in progress manually going through all of the tours a day at a time (I don't TT).
