Hey everyone! I was a bit nervous to contribute to a place like Nookipedia, but I finally did it! Though I first started doing it in private, I have decided to do it with an account now. I don't know yet how much or how often I'll edit, but I guess we'll see in the future! As you may be able to tell with my username, I am a fan of Pokémon and my favourite Pokémon is Sirfetch'd. I also believe that Tom Nook is a scammer, which is evident in my island's name. I think I should also mention I'm new to Wiki editing and I haven't played Animal Crossing in a long time, so if I provide wrong info it's because I just simply forgot.

Many people have added this to their userpages, and I will do the same. I don't remember where I first heard the term "Animal Crossing", but I heard it somewhere around 2017? I was playing a lot of town-builder games from the app store during this time, so I assumed it was the paid version of one of those. I actually thought it would be fast-paced and, because you had to pay for it, everything would be built immediately, you could maybe build a lot of skyscrapers! I asked for New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo for Christmas (I was 12 so...) in 2018 and I got it, along with a series 4 amiibo pack (it contained [[Papi]], [[Penelope]], [[Celia]], [[Angus]], [[Cally]] and my special character was [[Phineas]]. My plan was just to move them all in because I didn't have a clue what I was doing. The game wouldn't let me move in Cally though because there was apparently villager limits. I later found out that they cannot move out when I attempted to play this game the third time). When I started that game: I had no idea how slow it was going to end up being. My villagers were overall not great: [[Tucker]], [[Kid Cat]], [[Wart Jr.]], [[Anicotti]], and [[Pancetti]]. My native fruit was [[apple]]s, which is funny because I got the most generic one, which made me think that was the only fruit you could get. I got extremely impatient with how slow it was, but I'd never heard of Time Travel so after 2 weeks I quit. During those 2 weeks came a random move-in, [[Mitzi]], along with me moving in as many of the amiibo ones as possible. No upgrades happened as I had no idea how to progress. I did get the the ability to build [[Public works project]]s, but I didn't build a [[Campsite (facility)]] because I though they had no use. The game was left untouched until somewhere between that time and the next time I opened it up, and I discovered something horrible happened while I was gone: My favourite villager in my town, Mitzi, had moved away. I immediately shut the game down without saving because I didn't want to play if Mitzi wasn't there. I opened it back up again on February 20th 2020 after I was reminded about Animal Crossing again when the New Horizons direct had reached my Nintendo Switch newsfeed. Mitzi was still gone, and [[Mr. Resetti]] was yelling in my face, but I still decided to make this town work (I'm not revealing the name of my town as it is the same name as the city I live in. I was not creative back then). I didn't get New Horizons when it launched because it was to expensive for me as I don't get paid for anything. I begged my parents to get it for me on my birthday using Covid-19 as a valid excuse and they obliged and got it for me (thanks guys). I obviously named my island StupidNook (character limits made me unable to put the space in between but I think it fits nicely). But in the meantime of waiting for my birthday, I wanted dad to download me City Folk on an emulator because I was bored. I started the town and called it Pallet (obviously after Pallet Town in Pokémon what else). I started it on the day before Easter. The town was mostly filled with my least favourite villagers and oranges, which I'm not a fan of. The [[Town Hall]] was on the other corner of the town to everything else, along with my chosen house location as none of the houses where near everything else. My brother also started a City Folk town at the same time and from what I saw, he had a much better town layout and much better villagers. We both skipped playing on Easter, but then came back on Easter Monday (for you people that don't know what Easter Monday is, it's the day after Easter Sunday) to check who moved in. For my brother, it was [[Tutu]], a pretty average villager and one he didn't like at all because she was too cutesy for him. I got, if you would believe me after my bad luck, one of my most wanted City Folk villagers: [[Marina]]!!! After that play session though, I forgot about the town. I got New Horizons and was playing that a lot, I played New Leaf every once-in-a-while. Then, sometime this year I believe, I checked on my town before I deleted it because I had no time for it. My brother didn't, he just deleted it without checking to see who moved in. My newest move in was a villager I like, but not on the same level as Marina. It was [[Punchy]]. I still deleted the game anyway. I just realized how long I have been typing this and will end it here. Maybe I'll expand on this later.

I'm sorry for all the problems I caused here when I was still a LITERAL MINOR who thought I was better than everyone else here. I still check my island like once a year to relive old memories of playing this game excessively during the lockdown(s) but it's mostly just pokemon for me now. I don't know how I still knew this password or even that this account still existed but I decided to see if I could still log in just due to curiosity and I was surprised to see I could still log in! Will I edit anything anytime soon? No, I barely ever play Animal Crossing anymore. Will I ever come back? If the next game is good enough sure maybe, it's not out of the question! But it'll be a while, and honestly this was a a little bit of fun I had that I appreciated doing, even if all my edits and immaturity was annoying at times for others to deal with. Thanks for everything guys, you have no idea how much you meant to me! It looks like my 3 years of no editing streak is technically over now, even if I'm not currently planning to do anything else here yet.

My Userboxes
