Lily and the Rainbow Hydrangea is a Scrapbook Memory in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. To unlock this memory, the player must obtain a Hydrangea Gazebo.

Synopsis

The memory opens with Lily standing near the Hydrangea Gazebo, admiring her hydrangea blooms. The camera pans over to Agnes, who notices the hydrangeas and passionately remarks about their beauty. Agnes walks over to the Hydrangea Gazebo and sings about how she could smell them for hours. Lily notices Agnes and comments on her good mood. Shocked, Agnes suddenly notices Lily and panics, wondering how long she had been there. Agnes whispers to herself about how embarrassing it would have been if Lily had heard her singing. Lily tells Agnes that she stopped by to enjoy the hydrangeas. Surprised, Agnes wasn't expecting to meet someone who also enjoyed the blooms. Agnes comments on the colors of the hydrangeas, and to her surprise, she notices a hydrangea with a unique color. The camera pans over to reveal she is looking at Pietro, whom Agnes believes to be the Legendary Rainbow Hydrangea.

Pietro turns around and shows off, disappointing Agnes. Pietro walks over to Lily and Agnes to ask what they are doing, guessing they have been waiting for him. Agnes confirms that Pietro was wrong in his guess. Laughing, Pietro says that he has been waiting there for a while. Questioning Pietro, Agnes wonders if he often waits to jump out and scare people. Trying to figure out how to explain himself, Pietro says he waits for happy things. He goes on to explain that he sits and thinks about all the happy things that could happen, such as friends and flowers. Lily understands what Pietro is speaking of, saying that while Pietro waited, she and Agnes showed up, and now they are all spending time together. Agnes understands, but doesn't believe in the power of positive thinking, saying she would prefer to just get things done herself. This leads Lily to point out how Agnes created her own happiness by going to look at the hydrangeas. Lily suggests trying to wait for something positive to happen. Laughing, Agnes agrees and turns the idea into a competition. Despite denying that it is a competition, Pietro agrees to play anyway.

A blue bubble appears at the top of the screen saying how Lily, Agnes, and Pietro are waiting for something to happen, and encourages the player to ask them what they are waiting for. To Lily, Agnes, and Pietro's shock, the player walks up to them.
