This is a vague template. What does "update" actually mean? Is it another way of saying "adding information from new games"? Is it changing Japanese translated names to localized ones? Vague[edit]
This is a vague template. What does "update" actually mean? Is it another way of saying "adding information from new games"? Is it changing Japanese translated names to localized ones? I wish someone can elaborate. MarioTalk to-a me! 14:58, October 22, 2013 (EDT)
- It's pretty open in terms of interpretation, but as I see it, it simply means that the article is outdated, whether that be from a new game, press release, etc. ~SuperHamster Talk 00:12, October 23, 2013 (EDT)
Additional category needed?[edit]
Suggesting this template be added to Category:Notice Templates. --sunmarsh (talk) 20:02, July 19, 2014 (EDT)
Template needs editing[edit]
Just noticed that the template has an excess </noinclude> tag at the end that needs to be removed. Otherwise it shows up written below the notice box on pages where it used (as shown below). Additionally, the template is tagging pages with Category:Image Wanted rather than Category:Articles in need of an update --sunmarsh (talk) 12:02, July 20, 2014 (EDT)
- Chsnges done. My apologies for protecting the template in the first place. Red Snapper 12:23, July 20, 2014 (EDT)
- Thanks much, Red! And no worries about protecting the template. Per this discussion on The Bulletin Board perhaps all notice templates are to be semi-protected? --sunmarsh (talk) 14:12, July 20, 2014 (EDT)
