I'm not convinced that this is a texture. I've seen actual textures, they don't look like bits and pieces copy and pasted from existing low-resolution artwork like this one is. I myself can make more convincing-looking textures than this. This is an example of [https://www.textures-resource.com/ds_dsi/animalcrossingwildworld/texture/3923/ what textures look like]. Hell, this "unused texture" doesn't even match the layout of the alligator textures of the sprite sheet nor in [https://www.textures-resource.com/wii/animcrosscityfolk/texture/3988/ this one]. Finally, [https://www.textures-resource.com/wii/animcrosscityfolk/texture/3920/ shirt textures don't look like this], and they aren't put in the same texture sheet as the villager textures. I'm not convinced that this is a texture. I've seen actual textures, they don't look like bits and pieces copy and pasted from existing low-resolution artwork like this one is. I myself can make more convincing-looking textures than this. This is an example of what textures look like. Hell, this "unused texture" doesn't even match the layout of the alligator textures of the sprite sheet nor in this one. Finally, shirt textures don't look like this, and they aren't put in the same texture sheet as the villager textures. I'm calling bullcrap on this one.
