'''Tiansheng''' is an unreleased [[monkey]] [[villager]] who will be added to {{NH}} as part of the [[Animal_Crossing:_New_Horizons/Update_history/2.0|2.0 update]] on November 5, 2021. Their name is derived from the Chinese "Qí Tiān Dà Shèng" (simplified: 齐天大圣/traditional: 齊天大聖), a title for Sun Wukong translating to "Great Sage, Equal to Heaven."

==Characteristics==
===Appearance===
Tiansheng is an orange monkey with white hands and a white marking covering the majority of their face. Their eyes have yellow sclera which are each surrounded by a circular red marking. They wear a golden circlet, of which the shape is typical of depictions of the {{Wp|Monkey King}} in the Chinese novel, ''{{Wp|Journey to the West}}''. Unlike other monkey villagers, who are typically barefoot, they wear black footwear.
