'''Squirrels''' are a species of [[villager]] in the {{SER}}. They resemble real squirrels with their fluffy tails and facial features. Most of the squirrels also possess a pinstripe pattern on their tail; [[Tasha]] is the only exception. Most squirrels' initial catchphrases have "nut" or a related word in it.

There are twenty-one squirrel villagers so far, of which only six are male, compared to fifteen female squirrels. Of these, six are [[normal]], four are [[peppy]], four are [[snooty]], two are [[cranky]], two are [[jock]]s, one is [[lazy]], one is [[smug]], and one is [[big sister]]. Out of the squirrels, Kit is the only squirrel to not appear in {{NLWa}}.
